Landmark Vista in Florence

Ponte Vecchio, it means "old bridge." There is an upper corridor of this bridge where the Medici family walked so that they didn't have to walk with towns people. If you look closely you can see the upper level windows. Now you can go through the corridor and see Medici-owned artwork.



Palazzo Vecchio, it's where the city square is, Florence has a lot of medieval stuff, this nugget of medieval delight used to be where the Medici family lived, but eventually they moved to the much larger Pitti palace on the other side of the river. This building then became a city hall.
